A single large format projection of moving image floods the room directly with planes of blue light. Using interruptive planes and a single mirror, this immersive environment creates a mediative space. The moving image slowly transitions through different tones to produce a gently animated spatial experience.

Using abstracted colour slices and a limited tonal range, reflected and refracted coloured light perpetually cycles through rhythmic hues and patterns. Producing a space where audiences can pause, slow down and re-orientate themselves to a changed sense of time, The Blue Room brings a space for quiet contemplation, rest and calm.
